Terms of sale

Last updated: 20.10.2026

The owner of the online shop meknit.com (hereinafter the Online Shop) is ME KNIT OÜ (registry code 14385593), located at Ujula tn 1A, 51008 Tartu, Estonia, email info.meknit@gmail.com, telephone +372 5615 3533.

The Online Shop runs on the Shopify e-commerce platform. Shopify provides the Online Shop with a technical solution and hosting, but the sales contract is always concluded between the Buyer and ME KNIT OÜ.

The products sold in the Online Shop are made mainly by TOP KUDUM OÜ. ME KNIT OÜ acts as the operator of the online shop and as the seller that concludes the sales contract with the customer and arranges the packing and delivery of orders.

VALIDITY OF THE SALES CONTRACT; PRODUCT AND PRICE INFORMATION

These terms and conditions of sale apply to the purchase of goods from the Online Shop.

The prices of the products sold in the Online Shop are shown next to the products. All prices are in euros (EUR). The delivery methods and their prices are shown to the Buyer at checkout before the order is confirmed.

Information about the goods (including their main characteristics, material, dimensions, care instructions, etc.) is provided in the Online Shop directly alongside the goods. The actual shade of the products may differ slightly from that shown on screen (due to different screens, lighting, etc.).

PLACING AN ORDER

1. Add the products you want to the cart.
2. In the cart, read the terms and conditions of sale and confirm that you accept them by ticking the checkbox.
3. Click “Check out” and fill in the required fields at checkout (name, email, telephone).
4. Choose a suitable delivery method and parcel locker.
5. Choose a payment method and pay for the order.
6. Once the payment has been received, we will send an order confirmation to your email address.

PAYMENT

Orders can be paid for using the following payment methods (as shown at checkout):
– Visa / Mastercard card payments;
– Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Payments are processed by Shopify Payments. All payments are made in euros (EUR). Payment takes place in the payment service provider's secure environment. ME KNIT OÜ (the Seller) has no access to the customer's bank or payment card details.

The contract (sales contract) enters into force when the amount payable has been received in the Online Shop's bank account.

If the ordered goods cannot be delivered because they are out of stock or for any other reason, the Buyer will be informed of this as soon as possible and the amount paid (including the delivery costs) will be refunded without delay, and no later than 14 days after the notification is sent.

DELIVERY

Goods are sent to parcel lockers in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Finland (Omniva, DPD, SmartPosti, as shown in the basket and at checkout). The delivery price is shown next to the delivery method at checkout.

We generally dispatch in-stock products within 1–2 working days of receiving payment, and the parcel generally reaches the parcel locker within 1–3 working days, unless a longer delivery time is indicated for the product (for example, for pre-order or made-to-order products).

In exceptional cases (for example, supply difficulties, seasonal peaks, disruptions at a logistics partner), the Online Shop has the right to deliver the goods within up to 30 calendar days.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

After receiving the order, a Buyer who is a consumer (a natural person who buys goods for purposes outside their trade, business or profession) has the right to withdraw from a contract concluded in the online shop within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which the Buyer, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by the Buyer, acquires physical possession of the goods.

The right of withdrawal does not apply if the Buyer is a legal person.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, a notice of withdrawal from the purchase must be sent to info.meknit@gmail.com within 14 days of receiving the goods. In the notice, please state at least: the order number, the Buyer's name and the product(s) being returned. Stating the reason for the return is not mandatory, but it helps us improve our service.

The Buyer must return the goods within 14 days after submitting the notice or provide proof that they have handed the goods over to the carrier within that period. We will send detailed return instructions by email after receiving the notice.

The transport costs of returning the goods are borne by the Online Shop.

The Buyer may use the goods only to the extent necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, as would be permitted in an ordinary physical shop. If the goods have been used for any other purpose or show signs of use or wear, the Online Shop has the right to reduce the amount refunded in proportion to the diminished value of the goods.

The Online Shop will refund to the Buyer without delay, and no later than 14 days after receiving the notice of withdrawal, all payments received from the Buyer under the contract, including the amount paid for the goods and the initial delivery costs to the extent that they correspond to the cheapest standard delivery method offered by the Online Shop. The money will be refunded to the same bank account or payment card that was used to pay for the order.

The Online Shop may withhold the refund until it has received the goods back or until the Buyer has supplied evidence of having sent the goods back, whichever is earlier.

The Online Shop has the right to withdraw from the sales transaction and to demand the return of the goods from the Buyer if, due to an error, the price of the goods in the Online Shop was stated significantly below their market price.

RIGHT TO SUBMIT A CLAIM

The Online Shop is liable for any non-conformity of the goods sold to the Buyer with the terms of the contract, or any defect, that existed at the time the goods were handed over and that becomes apparent within two years of the goods being handed over to the Buyer. During the first year after the goods are handed over to the Buyer, it is presumed that the defect already existed at the time of handover. The burden of rebutting this presumption lies with the Online Shop.

When a defect becomes apparent, the Buyer has the right to contact the Online Shop within two months at the latest, by sending an email to info.meknit@gmail.com or by calling +372 5615 3533.

The Online Shop is not liable for defects that arose after the goods were handed over to the Buyer.

If goods bought from the Online Shop have defects for which the Online Shop is liable, the Online Shop will repair or replace the defective goods. If the goods can be neither repaired nor replaced, the Online Shop will refund to the Buyer all payments made under the sales contract.

The Online Shop will respond to a complaint submitted by a consumer within 15 days, in writing or in a format that can be reproduced in writing.

DIRECT MARKETING AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

The Online Shop uses the personal data entered by the Buyer only to process the order (including making payments, delivering the goods, handling returns and resolving claims).

The Online Shop transfers personal data to carriers in order to deliver the goods, and to the payment service provider (Shopify Payments) in order to make payments.

The Online Shop sends newsletters and offers to the Buyer only if the Buyer has expressed a wish to receive them by entering their email address on the website and confirming that they wish to receive direct marketing communications. The Buyer may unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions in the email or by writing to info.meknit@gmail.com.

Further details on the processing of personal data are set out in the Online Shop's privacy policy.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

If the Buyer has any claims regarding the Online Shop, they must be sent by email to info.meknit@gmail.com or made by telephone on +372 5615 3533.

If the Buyer and the Online Shop are unable to resolve the dispute by agreement, the Buyer (if they are a consumer) may refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Committee. The rules of procedure can be consulted and applications submitted at https://komisjon.ee. The examination of the Buyer's complaint by the Committee is free of charge.

These terms and conditions of sale are governed by the law of the Republic of Estonia. Where the law of the Buyer's country of residence provides for mandatory rules that are more favourable to the consumer, the law of that country also applies, to the extent that it is mandatory.
